Kidman Refutes 'Australia' Criticism

Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman has hit back at reports she is unhappy with her performance in new movie "Australia," insisting her comments have been misinterpreted by the media.

The star appears opposite Hugh Jackman in the Baz Luhrmann epic, which opened last month to mixed reviews.

Kidman was recently quoted as saying that she "can't look at this movie and be proud of what I've done", adding that she couldn't "connect to it emotionally."

But the actress is adamant her comments, in an interview with Sydney radio station 2day FM, were taken out of context, because she was actually referring to her whole body of work, claiming she can never bear to watch herself onscreen.

A representative for Kidman tells the Sydney Morning Herald, "It is quite ridiculous for anyone to believe the reports if they listened to the actual interview. It's hard to believe some of the world's media have fallen for it.

I know what she means. I can't bear to watch her whole body of work either.

Hugh Jackman looked might fine though. And I think the director had something to do with her cartoonish performance. It wasn't a TERRIBLE movie. Great cinematography. It is like a cake you know. All the OTHER ingredients can be perfect but use bad butter and YUCK!

I'm so fed up with public figures whining that their words have been taken out of context when articles quote them and they don't come off as being so perfect, happy, likeable, etc. Theses celebrities need to grow up, grow a spine and accept responsibilty for their words and/or actions.

See, hard not to use the words "I told you so". There are thousands ou Australian out there laughing at the international media for falling for this.
One tip before you write your articles, check your scources, because if you had done that, like me you would of realised what a load of crap you were about to write.
