Forbes just released their annual list of the celebrity faces that sell the most magazine covers, and it's definitely a shake up from last year. Angelina took the top spot, followed by Jennifer Aniston, Heath Ledger, Jamie Lynn Spears, Nicole Richie, Jessica Simpson, Suri Cruise, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, Heidi Montag, and Owen Wilson. Sounds like shocking headlines played a major role in this year's list, so tell us — are you surprised by the top ten most valuable celebrity faces of 2008?

Ok basically the first two are pretty obvious. Since this list is per year I can also understand Heath Ledger and Owen Wilson, but the rest shouldn't be on this list, especially the kids. I love Suri, I think she is precious but she is not a celeb, her weird father is and didn't even make the list.

And I would NEVER buy a magazine with Heidi's face on it! And I don't think I've ever bought a magazine with Jessica Simpson on the cover...
If this is true, I feel sorry for Suri and Shiloh. It's pretty sad if they are in the top ten. Jessica is way over exposed and so is Heidi. Tragedies always brings a lot of coverage. I would like to know which magazines they used, just tabloids or fashion and news.
It is a bit disturbing to see children on the list - Suri and Shiloh are both adorable, but they didn't choose to become public figures the way that their parents did. And I don't get Heidi at all. Maybe because she keeps giving Us Weekly "exclusives", but she is a prime example of someone who's famous for being famous.

I was a little surprised to see Jessica Simpson on there and not Brad Pitt, although I can't stand him either.
Jen and Angelina, as well as Jamie Lynn, Heath, and Owen were expected to be there.
I'm also surprised that Britney didn't make the list.

think Owen is there because he attempted to commit suicide. But seriously, this list sucks. Full of talentless skanks like Heidi Montag, Jessica Simpson and Jamie Lynn and two children (where only one of four parents is actually also present on the list!)
I'm not surprised, because Heidi makes a living off posing for pix for the paps for some unknown reason (I don't know her and from what I've seen, I don't want to---does she have fans?), Jessica can't live without the paps (you can't deny it, that girl runs off her mouth better than anyone I have seen, causes a tiny stir and retracts it; I am not a fan) & Jennifer is always whining to the press about her love life. Actually, I take that back--Jennifer's peeps do that. What I wish would happen is that the whole Jennifer vs. Angelina thing would just go far, far away! It's just so typical that a man and woman get divorced; he begins dating another woman, so automatically it's the other woman's fault (even if it WASN'T)--boom, female vs. female. I hate the double standard of that.
Owen Wilson and Nicole Richie, I can understand that, because they've both come so far from their old ways...or so I hope! Suri's just adorable, and I like seeing what she's dressed in. Jamie Lynn had a baby at 16, so that makes sense too. Heath Ledger is another true talent gone too soon.
Angelina Jolie & her family just rule. People are hardcore lovers of her & her family or hardcore haters. I love reading about the Jolie-Pitts. I just wish Jennifer Aniston wasn't mentioned EVERY SINGLE TIME something happens with them. Surely people can see that Angelina and Brad make a bazillion times more sense than Jennifer & Brad.

should go to third world countries. I feel sorry for them but in

Organizations helping the poor in America are out of money, the
older people could easily lose their retirement, businesses and
banks are going under. When are you going to feel like that just
maybe we should be helping some of the poor and homeless in this
country? I feel bad for my neighbors who have lost their houses
and jobs because of businesses that have closed and a $6 a hour
job doesn't take care of a family of four. They didn't ask for
it and have always worked hard.

maybe heidi montag & spencer have this scheme where they buy magazines when their on the front covers in bulk. they probably frame them and put them in every room in their house. maybe thats how their magazines sell.
see why the public loves Suri but now Im worried this girl will never have any privacy at all now and the future.
